His only recorded offspring is his son Champion, who is the sire of [Old] Pert. The General Stud Book and Pick's Turf Register both state that the Ely Turk sires [Old] Pert, but thoroughbred historian C.M. Prior says that Heber's Racing Calendar correctly says Pert is by Champion (son of the Osberton Arabian), and this is the pedigree of Pert shown on both bloodlines.net and Thoroughbred Heritage. Old] Pert sires a number of racehorses and a few mares which breed on for a period of time, but his only enduring legacy is as sire of Old Lady Mare, through which much of Family 14 descends, including the early 20th century magnificent racemare Pretty Polly, ancestress of the great Brigadier Gerard.
