(ENG) He stood at Lavington Stud for twelve years before being sent to New Zealand as a gift to friends by his then-owner, Lord Woolavington`s daughter Catherine MacDonald-Buchanan, who had inherited the horse on her father`s death five years earlier. Coronach was the first Derby winner to be exported to New Zealand and stood at Cranleigh Stud, Wanganui. He died in November 1949.
